CivilBillDesk is software for the offices of civil contractors, provided by CivilBillDesk, B-106, Mohammedi Manzil CHS, Marol, Mumbai 400059.
2What we keep
The records your company enters: tenders, projects and BOQs, bills, payments and receipts, employees, attendance and payroll, and the files you attach to them.
For each person who signs in: their name, email address and role.
3Who can see it
Only the people your company has invited, as their role allows. Each company's records are kept apart from every other company's. Our team opens your records only to help you when you ask [to confirm].
4AI bill scan
When you press Scan & fill, the file you picked is sent to Google's Gemini service, which reads it and sends back what it found. Nothing is sent until you press it. [Google's terms for this data to be checked]
5Where it is stored
Your records and files are stored with Supabase, our database provider in Mumbai, India. The app itself is served by Cloudflare.
When the app hits an error, technical details of the error may be sent to our error-reporting service so we can fix it [to confirm once it is switched on].
6On your device
The app keeps your sign-in on your device, a few display settings (light or dark, your pinned menu items, which reminders you have already seen), and a copy of the app's own files so it opens quickly. Your company's records are not stored on your device.
7How long we keep it
For as long as your company's membership runs. After it ends, [how long, and how the records are returned or deleted].
8Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your records, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them [process and rights under Indian law to be written by your lawyer]. Most lists can be downloaded to Excel from inside the app at any time.
